Putin's Russia to send spaceship to asteroid?

Is this some weird bid for Putin to manifest himself as "savior of the world?"

Russia's space chief said Wednesday his agency will consider sending a spacecraft to a large asteroid to knock it off its path and prevent a possible collision with Earth.

Anatoly Perminov said the space agency will hold a meeting soon to assess a mission to Apophis, telling Golos Rossii radio that it would invite NASA, the European Space Agency, the Chinese space agency and others to join the project once it is finalized.

In October, NASA lowered the odds that Apophis could hit Earth in 2036 from a 1-in-45,000 as earlier thought to a 1-in-250,000 chance after researchers recalculated the asteroid's path. It said another close encounter in 2068 will involve a 1-in-330,000 chance of impact.

Without mentioning NASA findings, Perminov said that he heard from a scientist that Apophis is getting closer and may hit the planet. "I don't remember exactly, but it seems to me it could hit the Earth by 2032," Perminov said.

He wouldn't disclose any details of the project, saying they still need to be worked out. But he said the mission wouldn't require any nuclear explosions.

"Calculations show that it's possible to create a special purpose spacecraft within the time we have, which would help avoid the collision without destroying it (the asteroid) and without detonating any nuclear charges," Perminov said. "The threat of collision can be averted."

"People's lives are at stake. We should pay several hundred million dollars and build a system that would allow to prevent a collision, rather than sit and wait for it to happen and kill hundreds of thousands of people," he added.

Boris Shustov, the director of the Institute of Astronomy under the Russian Academy of Sciences, hailed Perminov's statement as a signal that officials had come to recognize the danger posed by asteroids.

"Apophis is just a symbolic example, there are many other dangerous objects we know little about," he said, according to RIA Novosti news agency.

Former investor: Putin turns Russia "criminal state"

From the sound of this, Putin has turned Russia into a police state:

"Now, you have a bunch of law enforcement people who are essentially organised criminals with unlimited power to ruin lives, take property and do whatever they like and that's far worse than I have ever seen in Russia before. Russia is essentially a criminal state now."

Many Christian evangelicals believe Russia plays prominent role in apocalypse

Anything Russian, then, is suspicious, whether it is the modern day country's alliance with Iran, or the supposed installation of "czars" in Washington.

Note that, concerning Russian President Vladimir Putin:
--"Peten", a similar sounding word in Hebrew (the language of the Bible's Old Testament") means "cobra" -- the deadly snake. And "Vlad" in Hebrew means "infant". So, "child of the serpent" See my page on the 2004 election chaos and Dioxin poisoning of one candidate in the Ukraine, that Putin may have ordered; this cobra has a poison bite.
-"Put" in Biblical reference was one of the sons of Ham, and also a country usually identified with Libya.
--The Englsh name "Putt" means "dweller near a pit or pond". In Revelation 9:1 (King James version) Satan is represented as "a star fall from heaven unto earth: and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit. And he opened the bottomless pit, and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace". The key could be the key to the nuclear weapons that Putin now possesses.
--Some similar sounding words: in Spanish "puta" means "harlot", and in French "putain" means "harlot", making one think of the woman "Babylon" (that I think is Europe) that rides the red beast in Revelation 17: "and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns...And upon her forehead was a name written, "Mystery, Babylon the Great, the mother of harlots and abominations of the earth"
--In Hindu mythology, the female demon Putana was a daughter of Bali, the Monkey King. Putana tried to murder the infant Krisna (a Hindu avatar, a Hindu type of Christ-like Messiah figure), by giving him her poisonous milk (note - Mad Cow Disease today). Krisna later destroyed Putana. Analogous to the Christ and Antichrist in the Book of Revelation.
--Putin's grandfather was a cook to Lenin and Stalin, and therefore he worked in "Hell's Kitchen". Note that the "food" for Stalin was analagous to the millions of Russians he murdered.
--Putin's mother was named Mariya, similar to Mary, Mother of Christ.
--Putin's father served in the Russian Navy and submarine service, and note that the Antichrist in Revelation 13 rises out of the sea. Putin's father was born in Leningrad, a seaport.
--Putin was born on Oct. 7 1952 in Leningrad, near the time of the first U.S. Hydrogen Bomb test on Nov. 1, 1952. Note that Leningrad is on the ocean, and the Antichrist rises out of the sea in Revelation 13. And Julian Year 6666 is 1953; Julian time is used in astronomy and science and counts days from Jan. 1, 4713 B. C.; and note that 666 is the number of the Antichrist in the Book of Revelation. Also note:
1952 = 13/.00666 (13: Revelation 13)
Note that Heinrich Himmler was born on this same day of the year, Oct. 7, 1900. Himmler was in charge of the Gestapo, Hitler's secret police, and Hitler's second-in-command. Note that Putin was in the KGB, the Soviet secret police and intelligence agency. Could the KGB be a "cage" that Satan is released from, as in Revelation 20:7 where Satan is released from prison. And also note that Leningrad where Putin was born is .666 of the distance from the Equator to the North Pole.
-- In Matthew 16:18, Christ says to Peter (King James version): "thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it". Putin is from St. Petersburg, then named Leningrad. During World War II, the German "gates of Hell" could not prevail against Leningrad/St. Petersburg, which held out against a German siege and was never occupied by the Germans. Also, Peter the Disciple of Christ was a fisherman, and it was Czar Peter the Great of Russia who built the Russian Navy. So a kind of Christ / Antichrist Putin parallel on the subject of Peter.
-- Jan. 7 1952 was Russian Orthodox Christmas, so Christmas Day in Russia. Note that this was a possible day of conception for President Putin, who was born exactly 9 months later. Being conceived on Christmas is another indication of Putin being the Antichrist.
--Putin was based in Dresden East Germany during his KGB career. Note historically significant concerning Dresden was that allied bombing during World War 2 resulted in the firestorm of Dresden resulting in over 100,000 deaths there, think of it as the "fires of Hell" were seen in Dresden during WW2, which could relate symbolically here to Satan coming out of the "fires of Hell". Putin has a strong connection to Germany as well as Russia (see the "iron" and "clay" discussion on this page.)
--He became Prime Minister for Yeltsin at the time (Aug. 9 1999) of the Aug. 11 solar eclipse and Aug. 18 Grand Cross Astrology pattern in August 1999 that I have connected with the rise of the Antchrist.
--He became acting President of Russia as Yeltsin resigned as the new Millennium began on 12/31/99.
--He was inaugurated as President on May 7, 2000, 2 days after the May 5, 2000 unusual planetary aligment of the sun, moon, and 5 planets in a row. This could be the real significance of the 5/5/2000 alignment, the rise to power of the Antichrist. Note that this was 9 months after Aug. 9 1999 when he became Russia's Prime Minister. Think of this 9 months as a woman (Mother Russia or Europa) in pregnancy, giving birth to the evil one, as a red dragon is seen (the Russian 10 horned beast). Also note the celestial sign of the Astrology Grand Cross and Solar Eclipse in August 1999, and the May 5 2000 planetary alignment, agrees with this Revelation 12 passage, of a sign in heaven and a woman giving birth (King James Version):
"12:1 And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars:
2 And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered.
3 And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads.
4 And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born.
5 And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne."
-- Putin visited Rome on November 4-6 2003, exactly 3 1/2 years after the May 5 2000 planetary alignment. On November 4, 2003 there was the largest solar flare ever seen blasted out by the sun. Note that Rome is connected with the Antichrist in prophecy. And 3 1/2 years is a time period related to the Antichrist in prophecy. See this page for more on this.
--Also, note that the Lockerbie trial began then in the week of May 5, 2000, in the Netherlands (by the sea) for 2 Libyans for the Lockerbie plane bombing over Scotland. Note that the land of "Put" (similar to Putin) was Libya in Genesis in the Bible. Could "Lockerbie" be a symbolic reference to Satan's prison being "un-locked" to turn him loose on the world as Putin, as in Revelation 20:7 where Satan is loosed from his prison. Consider the name "Lockerbie". This brings to mind the word "lock", and the "keys of hell and death" Biblical quote from Revelation 1:11-18. It could also relate to Satan being "loosed from prison" as the Antichrist. Also, the Lockerbie crash occurred on the day of St. Thomas on the Catholic calendar, December 21. The significance of the Lockerbie crash being on the day of St. Thomas may relate to the idea that Christ's disciple Thomas may actually have been the twin brother of Christ, since "Thomas" actually means "twin". This idea was suggested in early writings from Biblical times that did not become part of the Bible. Note that the Lockerbie trial was held in the Netherlands, which is by the sea. So the Son of Satan, the Antichrist, may have been "unlocked" and set loose on the world in Russia at the time of the Lockerbie trial beginning, in May 2000. And note that although 1 Libyan was found guilty in the trial, the other Libyan was set free. That may be the symbolic meaning of the Lockerbie trial. Also note that "B" may correspond to the evil False God Baal or Beezlebub, in Babylon, as "Alpha" (A) and Omega correspond to Christ. Baal was locked up in the KGB ("cage" or prison for B- Baal) since the Russians defeated Hitler, put East Germany under the Iron Curtain, and since Putin was in the KGB. So Putin the Baal/ Antichrist was in the KGB cage. "Lockerbie" may represent a "Locker" or "cage" for B-Baal, note that "B" in Hebrew is "Beth" meaning "house". Once the Soviet Union started to disintegrate, Baal was released from his prison, and now Baal is loose in the world as Putin, and we are starting to see Putin-worship now in Russia, and we are likely to see Putin worshipped as a deity in Russia, more and more. For example: there is a religious cult in Russia now that worships Putin as the Bible's New Testament Apostle Paul returned, also saying that Christ has already returned, and that there are now seven divine beings (including Putin) and seven Antichrists on earth today.

Note that in 1 Kings 18 there is the prophet Elijah standing against and defeating the 450 False Prophets of Baal on Mount Carmel. Note that this new Baal, Putin has 450 deputies in the Duma, the Russian Parliament, corresponding to the 450 false prophets of Baal. Note that the land of "Put" in Genesis in the Bible was in Libya, which was Carthage in Roman times, and in Carthage there was practiced the sacrifice of small children to their false god Baal. So "Put in" means "Baal in", Putin being Baal released into the world today. And note there was exactly 2200 years (within 1 year) between the birth of Hannibal, the great Carthaginian general and military genius who nearly defeated Rome and whose name means "favorite of Baal", and the birth of Putin. And note that Baal-Zebub, the Phillistine Baal, meaning "Prince Baal", in Milton's "Paradise Lost" is Beelzebub, a fallen angel who is Satan's second-in-command.
--The time interval between Putin's birth and the August 11-18 1999 week of the Grand Cross pattern and the solar eclipse over Europe is 276x62 days. In Greek, the original language of the Bible's New Testament including the Book of Revelation, each letter is also a number, and therefore a number can be assigned to a word in Greek by totalling the letter/numbers. It is found that there is a pattern to these letter-numbers, evil or Satanic-connected words tend to be multiples of 666 or 276. "Satan" corresponds to 276x2, "evil" is 276x8, etc.. 276 seems to be connected with Satan, note that 276=46x6, and man has 46 chromosones, and man was created on day 6 in Genesis. And 62 I would relate to Biblical passage Revelation 6:2 about the horseman who is the Antichrist. Also, the time interval between Putin's birth and Oct. 28, 2003, the day before Devil's Night in the U.S., and a few days before Putin went to Rome and the giant solar flare occurred, is 28x666=21x888 days, 888 being the number for "Jesus" in Greek.
--Putin's birth date being Oct. 7, 1952, if you go 1953 years before that, you have Oct., 2 B.C.. That was likely close to the date of the birth of Christ. 1953 years is 63 cycles of 31 years, 31 years being within 2 days of 17 cycles of 666 days. On this page on 666 day intervals I explain the importance of 31 year and 666 day cycles, that events of the 20th century seem to have been related to. There was a close approach of Venus to Jupiter on June 17, 2 B.C.,only 2 months from Oct. 2 B.C., near the time of birth of Christ; the 2 planets actually appeared to merge in the sky. This could have accounted for the Star of Bethlehem legend; the 3 wise men were Astrologers, and such an unusual planetary conjunction would have had great significance for them. A key sign in 1998-99 that could relate to the arrival of the Antichrist as Putin was on April 23, 1998, (and also Feb. 23, 1999) when the planet Venus approached close to Jupiter in the sky. Jupiter relates to the Antichrist, because Jupiter and Thor (the Scandinavian equivalent) are said to control lightning and thunder, and the Antichrist is said to bring "fire down from heaven", which sounds like lightning. Venus having a close conjunction to Jupiter could mean Jupiter is "lit" by the close approach of Venus. So, these similar conjunctions in 1998 and 1999 could mean the Antichrist rose to power as Putin in 2000. And note that on May 17, 2000 Venus and Jupiter also had a very close conjunction, only 4' apart, but were too close to the morning sun to be seen, and also of interest in May 2000 was the 5/5/2000 grouping of the planets on one side of the earth; note that President Putin was inaugurated as President of Russia 2 days later on May 7, 2000. And also note that on Nov. 4 2004 there is a similar but note so close conjunction of Venus and Jupiter, within .6 degree, and this is 1 year after the giant solar flare of Nov. 4 2003 that I relate to Putin below.
So, there were 1953 years=63x31=9x7x31 from near the birth of Christ to the birth of Putin, likely Antichrist. This was 17x63 666 day intervals, or 1071 666 day intervals, note Revelation 10:7 (King James version), corresponding to 1071:
"10:7 But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.
10:8 And the voice which I heard from heaven spake unto me again, and said, Go and take the little book which is open in the hand of the angel which standeth upon the sea and upon the earth."
Also note corresponding to 63 is the red horseman, War, in Revelation 6:3:
"6:3 And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast say, Come and see.
6:4 And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword."
And note, corresponding to 31, Revelation 3:1:
"3:1 And unto the angel of the church in Sardis write; These things saith he that hath the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars; I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead."
Also note that, corresponding to 31, Gorbachev and Yeltsin were born in 1931.
Also, if you add 2x31=62 more years to Oct. 7 1952, you have 2014 A.D., 2 years after the Mayan calendar date of 2012 for transformation of the world. And you have, from the rule of the sun god Pharoah of Egypt (note elsewhere on this page where I explain Putin's connection to Ra the Egyptian sun god), further discussed on this page in the Jean Dixon section, to the birth of Christ, and to the birth of Putin:
Akhenaten in power 1366 B.C.; 44x31 years to: 2 B.C. Jupiter-Venus conjunction, near Birth of Christ; note that 44 we can associate with the 144000 chosen ones in Revelation.
63x31 years to birth of Putin in Oct. 7, 1952
So 107 cycles of 31 years, from Akhenaten to Putin birth. Again, note Revelation 10:7, quoted above. And there are 3348 years=108x31=27x124 years (124 years being a multiple of 666 days, related to the Antichrist, and 888 days, related to Christ, as explained on the 666 day interval page) from Akhenaten in 1366 B.C.to 1983 A.D.. Note that corresponding to 27, there are 27 books in the Bible's New Testament. And for 108, refer to Revelation 10:8, quoted above.

--The Antichrist in Revelation 13 is like a leopard. A leopard is a killer cat noted for its great speed. Note that Putin is a Judo champion, this being a sport requiring speed. In Judo you strike quickly, before the opponent sees you coming, and you try to knock him out before he has a chance to fight back. The interest in this sport may be an indication of Putin's cat-like "killer instinct" that he is also starting to show in politics. He may be one who strikes quickly, to knock out the opponent with a powerful first strike.
-- Note the similarity of "Putin" to "Rasputin", Rasputin being the strange prophet-healer who put the last Russian Czar's wife under his spell, and therefore contributed to the public unrest that eventually resulted in the fall of the Russian monarchy and the Communists coming to power. Rasputin could symbolically stand for "Ra put in", Ra being the Egyptian Sun god who was thought by them to be the creator of light and of the world, and who was represented by the pharoah. Also note how the largest ever flare from the sun occurred on Nov. 4 2003 when Putin visited Rome. Note on this page below where I show how St. Petersburg where Putin is from is directly North of the Egyptian pyramids, geographically, with a diamond shape formed. This could relate to Putin becoming a pharoah-like dictator of Russia, and worshipped as a deity there. Remember, "Satan comes as an angel of light". Also, Ra was sometimes depicted as having the sun as his eye, this could relate to Putin being said to have very menacing eyes, similar to Hitler being able to hypnotize people with his strange eyes (in Hitler's case his eyes were almost white). Also note that "peten" (similar to Putin) in Hebrew means "cobra", and Ra was depicted as having a falcon head, with the sun disk and a cobra.
